Chia

Known as the City of the Moon, the municipality of Chía is an important business and industrial center in the department of Cundinamarca, and the location of several higher education institutions, most notably UCundinamarca Chía Extension, created in 1999, which began its operations in the facilities of a local school. Given the growing student demand, UCundinamarca secured the land and the construction of its own modern campus in the El Cuarenta sector – Av. Los Zipas, inaugurated in 2016. Currently, the institution offers four undergraduate programs and three specializations in Chía.
