Our history

Your UCundinamarca started its operations in 1969. At the beginning, when we still didn't have professional undergraduate degrees but only technical ones, we were called ITUC, Instituto Técnico Universitario de Cundinamarca (University Technical Institute of Cundinamarca). Later on, in 1992, we were very happy because we were recognized as a university. Since then, many young people have been educated professionally with us. We hope that you will soon join this great family!

Our mission

UCundinamarca is an organization that carries out its work in accordance with the characteristics and major changes of today's world. Through our teaching, learning, and research practices, we contribute to solving problems faced by the people in the territory where we live. We strive every day to increase the quality of all our processes.

Our vision

Our goal is to be recognized throughout our department, our country, and the world as a university where knowledge is built to care for human beings, life, and nature.

Your dreams can come true

Studying a university degree is a decision that goes beyond the time you will spend in classrooms; it is choosing what you will do for the rest of your life.

It is your opportunity to decide on your future, project yourself, see what you would like to work in, and receive a salary for doing what you love most. It is integrating into new social circles and contributing to the development of your family and your country.

UCundinamarca is the only public university in the department, so our main commitment is to educate men and women whose work brings honor to the name of Cundinamarca.

Be part of UCundinamarca and become the professional you dream of being!
