To order, plan and manage the preparation of administrative acts and guidelines issued by the Superior Council, Academic Council and Rector's Office, control the management of documentation of interest to the University, direct the admissions system, registration and academic control and the handling of petitions, complaints and claims.
Higher Council
The University Superior Council is the highest governing and management body of the University of Cundinamarca and is composed of:
- The Governor of the Department of Cundinamarca, who presides over it.
- A member appointed by the President of the Republic who has ties to the university sector.
- A delegate of the Minister of Education
- A representative of the Academic Board, appointed by them. For this purpose, the Academic Board includes the Academic Council, the Academic Vice-Rector, the Deans, and the Directors of Institutes.
- A representative of the teachers elected by them
- A representative of the Graduates elected by them
- A student representative elected by them
- A representative of the Productive Sector
- A former university rector
- The Rector of the University of Cundinamarca with voice but without vote.

The Secretary General of the University of Cundinamarca acts as Secretary of the Superior Council.

| F. | To appoint the Deans of the University and other officials within their competence in accordance with current rules and procedures |
| g. | To create, modify, or eliminate sections, faculties, or other forms of institutional and academic organization. When the development of academic programs may be directly affected, prior approval from the Academic Council will be required. |
| h. | To create, suppress, or suspend academic programs at the request of the Rector, upon prior recommendation of the Academic Council, and to develop guidelines for the creation, suppression, suspension, monitoring, and evaluation of academic programs. |
| Yo. | To approve the Institution's budget, authorize any additions required during the fiscal year, as proposed by the Rector, and grant the necessary powers for its execution. |
