Extension

Known as the City of the Sun Man, Soacha is one of the most populated municipalities in the Department. Due to its proximity to the country's capital, it is a sought-after industrial center, where large companies have established their factories, warehouses, and administrative headquarters. It is the newest of the UCundinamarca extensions, created in the year 2000 to strengthen the training of professionals in the region. Currently, the institution offers three undergraduate programs and two specializations, and in turn, the offices of the Directorate of Disciplinary Internal Control were established to fulfill the institutional duty of organizing a highest-level unit responsible for hearing and ruling in the first instance on disciplinary proceedings brought against its civil servants.
