What is CAD?

Academic Sports Center (CAD) of the University of Cundinamarca is a unit attached to the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Physical Education that promotes training, well-being, research, and interaction through physical activity, sport, and recreation. Located in Fusagasugá, it features modern sports facilities and specialized spaces for the development of programs, services, and activities aimed at the university community and the region.

CAD is a university learning field that seeks the development of Physical Activity, Sport, Recreation, and Physical Education, under a multidimensional approach, with academic, investigative, formative, recreational, sports performance, interaction, and well-being purposes for the university and sports community, and the general public.

The generation of multidimensional spaces for the practice of physical activity, recreation, and formative and competitive sports, specific to the academic, research, interaction, and well-being activities that are part of the undergraduate and graduate programs of the University of Cundinamarca.
Development of initiation, training, and high-performance sports processes through the Sports Club of the University of Cundinamarca.
Provide technical, scientific, and administrative support to the training and preparation process of technical athletes, coaches, and instructors of the University, the region, the department, and the country.
The offering and sale of services specific to physical activity, sports, and recreation to the sports community and the general community, both national and international.
The generation of resources through the sale of services or the rental of sports facilities to different educational, sports, governmental, social, religious, or community organizations of various kinds.
The development of sports projects, as a result of interinstitutional agreements.
The development of high-performance sports projects in agreement with municipal, departmental, or national sports organizations.

The FIRST C in the field of soccer at Club Deportivo UCundinamarca is not simply a soccer category, but plays a crucial role in the progress of the sport, the incorporation of local communities, and the construction of a competitive and sustainable structure for the sphere of said sport. It is an essential category for the competition system, player preparation, and the strengthening of sports infrastructure, which ultimately benefits both the clubs and the university community and the community at large.

With 25 medals and outstanding performances, the UCundinamarca Sports Club left its mark on the Departmental Skating Ranking in Funza, Cundinamarca.
