The University of Cundinamarca conceives science, technology, and innovation as a learning field articulated with its mission and institutional objectives, which allows for the formal consolidation of a set of capabilities and expected results to contribute to the economic, social, and cultural development of the country. From this field, the university assumes the responsibility of fostering critical, reflective, and analytical capacity, which contributes to scientific and technological advancement and strengthening, oriented as a priority toward the cultural improvement and quality of life of the population and the participation of members of the university community in the search for alternative solutions to problems, as well as to the social and economic progress of communities.
