Objective

Scope
Start with the creation and registration of the research group, then the faculty council evaluates it by approving or rejecting it according to its relevance and suitability. It ends with the evaluation of the group's performance according to the proposed work plan.

Legal Nature
Article 21 of Resolution 064 of May 3, 2012, “Which determines the functions of each of the areas established in Article 1 of Agreement No. 008 of 2012,” establishes that one of the functions of the Research Directorate is: “To promote activities that effectively link teaching with research and outreach, ensuring the active participation of all stakeholders.”.
The Higher Council, through Agreement 002 of 2008, established the Research System at the University of Cundinamarca, with the main objective of strengthening the research capacity of innovation, technological development and knowledge management of the University, with reference to the indicators of the State System of Universities SUE, in perspective of the quality objectives within the framework of Institutional Accreditation aligned with the Quality Management process.
