UNIVERSITY OF CUNDINAMARCA HIGHLIGHTS RESEARCH TALENT AT REDCOLSI 2026

The University of Cundinamarca continues to establish itself as a benchmark in formative research thanks to the outstanding participation of its research seedbeds in the 24th Regional and 1st International Encounter of Research Seedbeds of REDCOLSI, Bogotá – Cundinamarca Node 2026, held at the University of La Salle.

In this important academic setting, the Institution participated with 47 institutionally endorsed projects and 71 student researchers, who excellently represented the different campuses, regional sections, and extensions of the University, presenting research initiatives focused on technological development, social transformation, and the strengthening of territories.

As a result of the commitment, academic quality, and research rigor demonstrated by the participants, 28 of the 47 participating projects in the 60% program qualified for the National Conference, which will take place in Montería from October 7 to 10, marking a significant achievement for the institution’s academic community.

This recognition praises the effort, discipline, and research capability of the students, who contribute to the strengthening of the institutional scientific culture and the generation of knowledge with social and territorial impact.

The University of Cundinamarca congratulates all student researchers and knowledge managers who made these results possible, reaffirming its commitment to training researchers capable of transforming realities through science, innovation, and collaborative work.
