The Business Administrator from the University of Cundinamarca is an integral manager of processes generated within public and private organizations, with investigative capacity, knowledge of the national environment and reality, with knowledge of the global context and business with an entrepreneurial and managerial spirit that allows him to solve problems and make decisions.
You can create your own company, developing innovative business projects in various sectors of the economy. You will be competent in generating strategies that contribute to the continuous improvement of companies with social and environmental responsibility.
To comprehensively train competent business administrators with critical, creative and innovative capacity, entrepreneurial aptitude, leadership capacity and knowledge of regional, national and international problems, so that they are able to perform successfully in the management of public and private organizations and in the development of projects to create companies that contribute to improving the economic, social and cultural conditions of the country.
Through Resolution No. 19530 of December 30, 1992, the MEN grants institutional recognition as an Official University to the University Institute of Cundinamarca ITUC with address in Fusagasugá.
Following this recognition, the University of Cundinamarca, headquartered in the municipality of Fusagasugá and with branches in Girardot and Ubaté, expanded its geographical coverage to the provincial level in the municipalities of Facatativá, Chía, Soacha, Zipaquirá and Chocontá, as well as the areas of knowledge in order to meet the needs and requirements not only of the population of Cundinamarca, but also of the area of influence and the country.
The Business Administration program was created by the Higher Council Agreement No. 0019 of June 20, 1994, as a result of the transformation of the curriculum proposal with which it began its offering in the Technology modality, specifically in the area of financial administration and in accordance with the national regulations on higher education.
Currently, the curriculum project is being developed and offered in five (5) municipalities of the Department of Cundinamarca where the University has campuses, with the aim of facilitating access to higher education for the population in compliance with its mission and the substantive functions of Training-Learning; Science, Technology and Innovation and University Interaction.
The academic programs in the municipalities of Fusagasugá, Ubaté, Girardot, Facatativá and Chía have the Qualified Registration for their development and are committed to continuous improvement processes in the search for high quality accreditation and in accordance with the institutional strategic objectives.
