During the first semester of 2026, the Faculty of Education of the University of Cundinamarca, through its Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, successfully led the University Social Interaction project ISUPRO 190: “Memory and Reconciliation.” This initiative was developed in a strategic alliance with the Secretariat of Women and Gender of the Mayor's Office of Fusagasugá, with the House for the Dignity of Women as its epicenter.
The project established itself as a valuable pedagogical space thanks to a sensitive methodology that integrated writing, painting, and collective weaving. Through these artistic expressions, the participants managed to re-signify their life stories, understanding reconciliation as a living process that begins with self-recognition and heals in the encounter with the other.
The impact of this UIS strategy went beyond traditional classrooms by directly benefiting 458 people. This was achieved through in-person activities and various educommunication tools, among which interactive workshops such as “Poetizing Memory,” “My Body and the Territories of Memory,” and “The Memory of My Community” stood out. In addition, the project included a large-scale talk on self-care as part of the commemoration of International Women's Day.
