Towards a total digitization of the U.

The meeting with administrative staff for the construction of the development plan continues to progress; secretaries, office heads and other support staff left proposals, projects and constructive ideas on the table for the mission management of the university.

It was four hours of construction and dialogic reflection, a space in which the rector of UCundinamarca, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, took the opportunity to highlight the human talent of the institution. “The strength of an organization lies in its people, although resources are important, but if we lack the human talent to manage, we also lack the potential; that is the strength to work for the university and for the department of Cundinamarca, so leadership is in each of us, and the development plan is inspired by you.”.

Por su parte, Fabio Gil Sanabria, director administrativo de la unidad regional mencionó la importancia de consolidar el proyecto de una organización universitaria digital a través de los procesos, fortalecer la gestión ambiental, y la ampliación de la oferta educativa.

 “The University of Cundinamarca has taken on the challenge of generating, managing and disseminating knowledge in a globalized world, and these dynamics force us to be an efficient and competitive institution, to redesign structures and procedures for the digitization of processes; this is what we must focus on,” Gil Sanabria pointed out.

The administrative staff of the Soacha Extension made the following contributions:

-Digitize administrative processes to consolidate a translocal and transmodern university organization.

• To join forces with the Mayor's Office of Soacha for the creation of the pro-development stamp for the University of Cundinamarca.
• Strengthen the environmental management of the extension for certification in the ISO 14001 standard in its 2015 version.
• To outline strategic actions to seek certification in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001 Standard
• Creating spaces for cross-border dialogue through communication technologies.
• Redefining the graduate's connection to different academic spaces.
• Curricular Re-signification of the programs offered in the extension.
