Projection of a transmodern institution

In this third meeting with the administrative staff, the rector of the institution, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, once again shared the Rector's Plan 2019-2023 University of Cundinamarca: Translocal Transmodern and highlighted the importance of transcending in the different areas of the human being.

“A person has to go beyond themselves, they have to be better every day, and that implies reinventing themselves, being a transhuman person, who fights and defends life by giving their best as a professional, entrepreneur, innovator, and transformer of their environment. In addition, human beings must combine their intelligence, soul, and heart in their work environment with social and professional well-being.”.

In the collective exercise, among the contributions of the administrative staff, proposals such as the following stand out:

• Implement the chair for peace, to strengthen values in the alma mater.

• Strengthen the social welfare of workers, according to the guidelines of the Occupational Safety and Health office.

• Expand the infrastructure, create an auditorium for the extension.

• Expand and support the language center at the Extension to strengthen bilingualism in administrative staff and their families.

• Visualize the current academic and administrative growth projection of the Extension with a view to converting the Extension into a Branch.

• To carry out a measurement of the financial needs for the operation of the Facatativá Extension and in this way, generate sufficient and equitable resources for the achievement of the activities.

• Strengthening workplace well-being among administrative staff.
