Construction of the PD in Fusagasugá.

On February 24th at the Fusagasugá campus, students from the academic programs of Public Accounting, Business Administration, Systems Engineering and Electronic Engineering participated in the day for the construction of the strategic guidelines that will be established in the 2020-2023 Development Plan.

During the day, the university rector, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, expressed to the students the importance of “Rethinking and reinventing the university, the teacher and the student, because this is a task that involves the educational community and that will set the course for the institution.”.

The proposals made include:

-To make use of virtual classrooms as a learning method.

-Create the possibility of dual degrees.

-Generate strategies for teacher training in ICTs through the learning training school.

-Training and use of the university's virtual library.

-Conduct meetings with graduates for knowledge generation and networks.

-Review the form of co-evaluation and self-evaluation, as well as the teacher evaluation methodology so that you have the opportunity to strengthen your weaknesses.

-To articulate social projection, social interaction and research.

-Diversify the postgraduate offering in areas such as e-commerce, digital marketing, human talent, software development, telecommunications, project management, etc.

-Promote international internships as a degree option.

-Implement curriculum reform in accordance with global trends in engineering and financial management.

-Review the feasibility of having a well-equipped welfare facility in nursing, psychology, and physiotherapy rooms.

-Strengthen the teacher training school for learning, with training.

-Generate didactic and ICT-mediated learning strategies.

-Create spaces for participation in curriculum redefinition.

-Generate international and national research networks mediated by ICTs.

-Connect with successful graduates for learning.

-Financial support for students for international academic mobility.

-Consolidate the language center with a diversification of languages in English, French, and Portuguese.

-Strengthen the teaching staff and review teacher recruitment.

-Create business alliances or agreements for internships.

-Create inclusive culture projects with a multidisciplinary vision.

-Implement environmental projects.

-Review the method of awarding support for socioeconomic services.

-Bring in native teachers for the practice and improvement of the foreign language.

-Improve maintenance of computer labs, including enabling an application so that students can report failures in real time.

-To encourage the student's sense of belonging to the institution.

-Promote professionals with human values.

-To encourage the student to develop their academic potential.
