Ubaté Sectional

The invitation to participate in the UCundinamarca Translocal Forum for Open & Clear Management S21 2017—held at the Ubaté branch—was extended to students, faculty, administrative staff, and the general community through the institutional website, social media, and radio spots on the local station.

The event was held on May 23, 2018, at the Alberto Urdaneta Forero Auditorium of the branch campus and had the participation of 109 attendees, of which 72 were students, 20 administrative staff, and 17 faculty members.

The intervention of the Branch Director, Dr. Miguel Alejandro Flechas Montaño, opened the event, presenting investment data on budget execution for student assistantships, equipment purchases, materials and supplies, laboratory inputs, and general expenses for service acquisitions.

The management carried out for the following projects, among others, was announced:

  • Acquisition of furniture and materials required for the remodeling and adaptation of faculty rooms and physical plant.
  • Acquisition of four hundred (400) university chairs to furnish the classrooms of the Institution.
  • Acquisition of supplies and reagents for the Zootechnics and Agricultural Administration laboratories.
  • Acquisition of technological equipment for academic and administrative areas.
  • Acquisition of furniture for the Cisco, Telecommunications, Management and Accounting II, and Physics laboratories.

Likewise, the coordinators of the Public Accounting, Agricultural and Zootechnical Administration, Business Administration, and Systems Engineering programs presented the management carried out during the 2017 term, which showed their contribution to the fulfillment of the plans, programs, and projects of the 21st-century generation of the University of Cundinamarca.
