The “Artistic Circulation” initiative of the Music program at the University of Cundinamarca seeks to positively impact society through music, offering more than just a simple concert. The project integrates students, teachers, external artists, and culture houses, promoting learning through classes, talks, presentations, and interaction with guest musicians. These spaces allow students to broaden their vision of the musical process and understand both the prior preparation and the international projections of their discipline.
Furthermore, the proposal connects with MEDIT (Transmodern Digital Educational Model)., strengthening the collective construction of knowledge. The community benefits by sharing experiences that transcend the classrooms and promote social transformation through music.
The public's reception has been significant: the venues fill up every season and live broadcasts allow more people to join virtually. Among its achievements, the participation of international artists, such as pianists from Russia and Paraguay, stands out, reflecting the global openness of the event.
The project is led by teachers Samir Aldana and César Sanabria, with the support of psychologist Ivón Ibarra, who have strengthened the relationship with entities such as the House of Culture of Zipaquirá.
Currently, the organizers are managing the approval of the fourth season for 2026-1, with the expectation that this effort will become an institutionalized space, independent of calls for proposals, and that it will continue to expand its cultural boundaries.
