Education in Colombia originated as a proposal from the National Government in compliance with the guidelines of the main education project to which our UCundinamarca joins through its Rectoral Plan, embodied in STRATEGIC FRONT 3: Education for life, democratic values, civility and freedom and STRATEGIC FRONT 4: Science, technology, research and innovation.
Through a joint effort led by the Academic Vice-Rector's Office, the Directorate of Self-Evaluation and Accreditation, the Office of Academic Development, and with the collaborative support of the Soacha extension headed by Dr. Fabio Julio Gil, several sessions were held today with principals of schools in the department, our deans and program directors in order to continue consolidating and making these projects a reality that benefit our youth in Cundinamarca.
This articulation seeks to achieve continuity between secondary and higher education studies, as well as to prepare students for work, with the purpose of qualifying the workforce and expanding coverage in higher education, increasing the number of young Colombians in technical, technological and higher education in order to partially solve the problem of unemployment facing the country.
“Educational articulation is a theoretical-practical model of organization and management, applicable to the different levels and fields of the educational system, dynamic, flexible, open and complex; which is built and sustained in processes of systemic interaction, among all educational actors, to establish functional and meaningful relationships between the components of the field of education, curricular and metacurricular, in order to achieve consensual teaching goals”
