“UCundinamarca is a preferred academic exchange destination for students from the University of the Basque Country. Many friends have been here and told us about the support and kindness they received during their stay; those aspects were enough to choose this institution,” said Irati Aretxabaleta.
Irati explains that she enrolled in the Folkloric Dance course because she wants to share Colombian culture in her country. Ainhoat, for her part, says she has received a great deal of support from the Faculty of Sports Sciences regarding the academic process, accommodation, and meals.
The young students will study subjects such as folk dance, didactic pedagogy, ludo recreation, motor development and learning, among other areas of knowledge related to the program they are studying in Primary Education with an Emphasis in Physical Education.
”Internationalization, understood as an academic dimension, is made visible through these academic mobility agreements. It is an exchange of knowledge, experiences, and expertise. Our goal is to showcase UCundinamarca as a destination university for academic study, and it is a great opportunity for cultural exchange, specifically in this area of physical education; it is the intersection of two cultures,” stated Sonia Liliana Pinto, Director of Internationalization at the institution.
