“The impact of the project is like our Institution It carries out its mission functions of training and learning, innovation and technology, and university interaction. by providing spaces for the use of free time for the Fusagasugá school community of socioeconomic strata one and two, through the practice and learning of a sports discipline, as well as contributing to the integral formation of each of the participating children, generating movement habits, through the stimulation of their physical, motor and cognitive capacities,”, explained Eduardo Ortega Mora, the project's lead professor.

During the first semester of 2018, the Sports Performance Learning Field project CARD–UCundinamarca carried out the activity plan called: “The Movement as a Key to Integral Human Development,” an initiative that dedicated 720 hours to the promotion and development of physical activity, physical education, sports, recreation, and culture in general, with 532 boys and girls aged nine to twelve from the city of Fusagasugá.

The boys and girls participating in the project began their initiation, training and comprehensive development process in the sports disciplines of soccer, futsal, basketball, volleyball and cheerleading, athletics, swimming, skating and tennis at the Academic and Sports Center CAD of our Institution at the Fusagasugá Headquarters.
Furthermore, the first CARD-2018 youth sports festival was held, with the participation of 387 children from external programs, for a total of 903 children participating. The second festival took place in the municipalities of Pasca, Arbeláez, and Silvania to foster exchanges in various sports disciplines.

Another important aspect of the project is the work with the parents' school of the children belonging to the CARD-UCundinamarca project, a space that has allowed the development of informative talks, aerobics marathons, walks, among other integration activities with the sixty-four parents.
