Continuous improvement depends on everyone.

The online talk, "Improvement and Innovation, Pillars of Organizational Success," organized by the Internal Control Department with support from the Quality Office, was led by an industrial engineer. Duban Moreno Perlaza, A specialist in business systematization, a professional in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certification) and an expert in management, training and consulting for innovation, quality and continuous improvement of processes in Colombian and multinational companies, highlighted the importance of creating value from management models and human talent, using technology.

“It is necessary to prioritize change agents to achieve the mission objectives formed by the reason for being of the institution in formation and learning, and in this way, generate continuous improvement in all organizational work,” the engineer explained.

Considering the digital management operating model for strategic, support, and core processes, how can organizations reinvent themselves during a pandemic when work is remote? This was one of the questions raised throughout the discussion.

“Technology will make life easier for knowledge-based organizations, so knowledge will be the gold of the future. We must take advantage of technology to optimize processes, as remote work invites us to explore websites and tools for administrative management. Therefore, I encourage you to have fun and reinvent yourselves,” said Moreno Perlaza.

It is worth highlighting the work being carried out by the Internal Control Directorate at the University of Cundinamarca, emphasizing the need to work with greater coordination, generating value in each of the processes, through the use of idea generation techniques and thus achieving better results with greater efficiency.

So the invitation is to generate ideas as a team, to make better use of technological resources, because it is technology that works for human beings and not man for it, and to reinvent ourselves every day.
