With this approval, the University will submit both programs to the Ministry of National Education to obtain their respective accreditations. In this way, we are moving forward in fulfilling the goals of the 2020–2023 institutional development plan and the UCUNDINAMARCA TRANSLOCAL AND TRANSMODERNA Master Plan.
Expanding the academic offerings of the University of Cundinamarca opens doors for more families in Cundinamarca to make their dreams a reality, as their young people will have access to higher education programs that are in demand in today's society.
Currently, most companies use information technology to operate. A representative figure in this regard comes from the World Bank, which stated that Colombia needs more than 60,000 professionals trained in ICT.
For its part, physical activity and sport as a labor market is a growing phenomenon and is currently undergoing a period of rapid expansion, being one of the most important phenomena of the 20th century (Casterad et al., 2011). In other words, it is a multifaceted and poorly structured market, in which different professionals (sports technicians, vocational training technicians, physical education teachers, physical education graduates, and from now on, graduates) converge with blurred competencies among them, and in labor sectors that are some well-defined, others poorly regulated, and others supposedly emerging (Casáis, 2011).
