Zipaquirá and Chía will be strengthened in this process

The transition from in-person to virtual learning at the institution's Chía and Zipaquirá campuses has been a positive adaptation process because students have responded well and professors have excelled in using technology and the institutional platform to deliver classes in a pedagogical and didactic manner. In Chía, 951% of the student body is attending virtual classes, and in Zipaquirá, 941%, explains Juan Carlos Torres, administrative director of the campuses.

Most teachers have participated in the training process provided by the institution through the Office of Virtual Education, which has provided the tools for the proper use of Microsoft Teams.

Similarly, students who had difficulty using technological tools received three days of training that empowered them to continue their online learning experience.

It's worth noting that students who sometimes experience connectivity issues can access recorded classes on the platform and thus avoid falling behind, the administrative director explained. "We've followed a collaborative and collaborative process so that both teachers and students can move forward and view this experience as a challenge that will provide personal and professional learning.".
