You can still participate in the Hackathon

“This multinational will train one person from the team (the software developer) so that they can participate in the event on October 26,” explained Jorge Rico, leader of the Center for Innovation, Technology and Organizational Management – CITGO.

CITGO is organizing the Hackathon as part of University Week, which will take place from October 20th to 22nd. This year's event brings together innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and the work carried out by CITGO to benefit the university community.

According to the CITGO leader, Huawei, as the event sponsor, will train the participants and reveal the code they use so they can develop an app live, subject to evaluation by the company's experts.

The groups will consist of a software developer, a business expert, a creative professional, and a social scientist. Currently, only the developer will have received prior training. However, it's worth noting that these activities contribute to the student's education and knowledge acquisition across all subject areas.

“The registration dates have been extended so that everyone interested can register. These types of experiences are very important and we invite you to be part of these challenges.”.

CITGO will soon provide more details about University Week and its schedule.
