The first place winners enjoyed a weekend at a vacation home in Cafam Melgar, surrounded by nature and with all the biosecurity protocols to guarantee the protection and health of the officials.
During the day, tours were conducted to enjoy the environment, recreational and educational activities related to the new color code for waste classification with the support of the Environmental Management System; it was a weekend of rest, fun and learning.
The competition was conducted under parameters such as the development of the theme (related to the programs of the Institutional Environmental Management Plan – PIGA), the audiovisual narrative, the audiovisual quality, the level of support for environmental culture and originality.
The videos were evaluated by external judges from different environmental entities such as the Regional Autonomous Corporation CAR, which participated with judges from Programs or areas such as Recycling Cycle, Environmental Education and Biodiversity, as well as the Punto Azul Corporation, which handles the disposal of expired medicines from the University, and from the University, through the Coordination of the Specialization in Environmental Education.
The first place in the Branches and Extensions category went to the Ubaté Branch and the second place to the Zipaquirá Extension, the latter will soon receive its prize with a relaxing spa day at the Cafam Club in Bogotá.
