WiFi zones benefit students

On August 25th at the Auditorium of the Soacha Extension Library The Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies (MinTIC) and the Mayor's Office of Soacha held a community outreach event to promote the Wi-Fi zones. This meeting sparked interest within the community, as these free internet access points will provide residents of the municipality with easy, fast, and secure internet access.

In total, there are 19 free WiFi zones in Soacha, located in places such as the León XIII Coliseum, the San Mateo Main Park, and Chiloé Park, among others. Each of these zones will operate 24/7 and will support an average of 200 people browsing simultaneously.

Thanks to this benefit, the UCundinamarca community will also benefit from these advantages that the Internet provides, as it will allow access to school consultations, tuition payments, virtual classrooms and many more enabled services.
