It is well known that suitable working conditions, where order and cleanliness prevail, significantly reduce the probability of accidents and work incidents, and also facilitate the performance of tasks and provide spaces for meditation that allow creativity to flow.
The Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) office at the Ubaté branch led a cleanup and organization day, which initially included training in conjunction with the Environmental Management System (EMS). During this training, administrative staff strengthened their knowledge and integrated strategies for more effectively managing files, materials, work tools, and waste.
For this event, the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST), the Environmental Management System (SGA), University Welfare, and representatives from the Joint Committee on Occupational Health and Safety (COPASST) encouraged the participation of all administrative staff. Personal protective equipment (PPE) was distributed, and the activity began with the removal of unnecessary items from each office. Finally, the Warehouse, Systems and Technology, and Archives and Correspondence departments joined forces to carry out the final disposal of these items.
The Ubaté branch is preparing for a new version of this event, which will include the participation of teachers and students.
