The University of Cundinamarca hosted a discussion for the nine students currently participating in student exchange programs at the institution's various extension campuses. The event, led by Rector Adriano Muñoz Barrera and the Office of Internationalization, fostered a dialogue of knowledge, with the concepts of transmodernity, translocality, and the 21st Century Generation as the main topics of this academic exercise.
“This formal welcome allowed us to learn about the proposals, the academic model of the University and also to contextualize ourselves about academic life and the city,”, Leguizamón Franco, an academic exchange student in the Agronomic Engineering program, highlighted this.
In addition, the students shared the Joint Research or Mirror Classroom projects that they have been developing during their stay in Colombia. From this space, it has been concluded that at UCundinamarca we are a multicultural 21st Century Generation, with diverse perspectives, open to difference and committed to overcoming the challenges of the local, regional and international environment.
