Weighting with games and culture

The Public Accounting weighting exercise was carried out with students, teachers, graduates and administrative staff through recreational activities.

On September 20th, the Public Accounting program's weighting exercise was held at the Fusagasugá campus with the participation of students, professors, graduates, administrative staff, and directors. According to Olga Liliana Gutiérrez Castaño, coordinator of the Public Accounting program, "the program is 'reflecting' on accreditation." She explained that, as part of its improvement plan, resulting from the self-evaluation conducted in 2016, several improvement actions were implemented, including the establishment of processes for coordination, communication, and participation with all members of the university community.

These actions have fostered the participation of students in social and cultural events within their ongoing education; from dialogic encounters and academic events to the management of virtual classrooms.

In the area of Research, research professors participated in training sessions on advanced academic writing and research group management. Regarding professional development and learning, the faculty and diversity policies were shared. The importance of faculty advising within the framework of teaching management was also highlighted.

It is worth noting that the self-evaluation and weighting exercise is a reflective process that aims to identify strengths and weaknesses, analyze and rate the process in conjunction with the productive sector, program graduates, students, professors, managers and administrative staff, and other stakeholders, with the goal of continuing to improve through collective management towards positive results.
