Web accessibility for people with visual impairments

By applying international and national standards, our Institution is advancing its policy of inclusive education for the educational community and the general population.

The University of Cundinamarca, in its rectoral vision of translocality, transmodernity and digital university governance, is advancing its inclusive education strategies with the implementation of a social inclusion module on the web portal for people with visual impairments.

The module's strategy addresses the web accessibility needs of people with visual impairments. Users and visitors to the institutional website will have access to a site with scalable fonts, color schemes that allow for special contrasts, and other features for all audiences.

Currently, there are countless legal provisions that protect the rights of people with disabilities, such as the 2013 policy guideline for inclusive higher education, created within the framework of education with equity, law 115 of 1994, among other legal and monitoring tools of this type.

Statutory law that guarantees the rights of people with disabilities.
