We recorded 85,80% of effectiveness in online learning

In the Permanent Academic Council, the seven deans and the administrative directors presented to the university community the record of 85,80% of effectiveness of online classes, 51,729 hours of learning and 22,950 classes carried out with a total of 3,942 class groups, from August 18 to September 22.

For multidimensional training and learning between teachers and students, educational platforms such as Microsoft Teams (61,72%) continue to be used, followed by email (18,01%), Moodle (6,94%), other platforms such as Google Drive, Zoom, Skype, Dropbrox, and social networks (13,33%), which have facilitated digital tools and virtual classes.

It is worth noting that this second academic period of 2020 begins with the Transmodern Digital Educational Model – MEDIT – adopted through Agreement 000017 of 2019 of the Academic Council, with the curricular redefinition of the academic programs of Business Administration, Music, Psychology, Zootechnics, Systems Engineering and their fields of learning, among other mission and strategic pillars.

Faculty analytics

The Faculty of Health Sciences demonstrates 72,46% effectiveness with a record of 621 virtual classes, 1,766 class hours, and 78 groups created. The Postgraduate Studies Department shows 68,92% of class execution, 698 class hours, 153 classes held, and 144 groups created.

The Faculty of Education records 90,39% of class effectiveness, 1,008 hours of classes, 4,927 classes, and 163 groups created.

The Faculty of Administrative, Economic and Accounting Sciences records this month 12,075 hours, 86,77% of effectiveness in classes, 4,801 classes held and 1,015 class groups created.

The faculty's outstanding achievements are evidenced by the completion and implementation of 19 learning plans and disciplinary learning areas for the first through fourth semesters of the Business Administration program, and the design of learning plans for the fifth through seventh semesters. Also noteworthy is the implementation of the Expo UCundinamarca cultural learning area.

The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences reported 82,141 TP3T (3-hour credits) of effective online classes, 10,819 class hours, 4,498 classes held, and 689 class groups. Among the highlights were the curriculum redesign with the introduction of MEDIT (Integrated Media and Technology) for the Animal Science program at the Fusagasugá campus and the Agronomic Engineering program at the Facatativá extension, MEDIT training, and the renewal of accreditation for the Animal Science program at the Ubaté branch and the Master's program in Environmental Sciences.

The Faculty of Sports Science and Physical Education reports an effectiveness of 83,991 TP3T in its ICT-mediated learning, with 2,271 classes held, 5,531 class hours, and 280 groups created. Key actions include the curricular redesign of the sports science program and adjustments to the degree's master document; implementation of a mirror classroom with the Adventist University of Chile; the implementation process for the international congress on sports initiation and reserve; the international seminar on physical education updates; and support in the loan of computer equipment, among other ongoing activities of the faculty.

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Political Science reports 88,83% of class effectiveness, 4,682 classes held, 8,186 class hours and 887 class groups created.

The faculty continues its communication strategy through its Facebook fan page with over 500 followers; production of videos for the Music program; production of radio programs "Your mental health at a click" focused on well-being, broadcast by the UCundinamarca and Unilatina 94.4 FM Facatativá radio stations; implementation of the CADIS and CAC; curricular redefinition of the Psychology program; and progress in presenting initial conditions for accreditation of the Music program.

The Faculty of Engineering reports 80,731 TP3T (Teacher Training Points) of effectiveness in its classes, totaling 2,646 hours, 997 classes, and 686 groups created. The faculty's academic leadership presented the experiences and training activities in its cultural field of "cyberculture" within the context of the MEDIT (Integrated Media and Technology) implementation with the "Your CIT Online" strategy, the development of dialogic encounters with the participation of 1,390 people, and the acquisition of the new technologies laboratory for the Facatativá extension. These training experiences benefit from the participation and interaction of students, faculty, and the community at large.
