The University of Cundinamarca reaffirmed the efficiency and transparency of its internal processes by obtaining a historic score of 95.1 points in the Institutional Performance Index (IDI) corresponding to FURAG 2025. This score represents an increase of 2.7 points compared to 2024 and places the institution 15.4 points above the average of the territorial universities in the country.

The assessment reflects a steady evolution in university management, highlighting a perfect score of 100 points in the Strategic Direction and Planning dimension. Furthermore, of the 14 policies evaluated by the Integrated Planning and Management Model (MIPG), 10 registered notable increases, with significant progress in Document Management (+18.1 points) and Digital Security (+6.0 points).

“This achievement of 95.1 points recognizes the coordinated work of our community and the level of maturity in our processes, consolidating a high-level management model that directly responds to the needs of the territory,” explained Dr. Adriana Asención Torres Espitia, Director of Institutional Planning.

Despite the outstanding indicators, the report identifies priority challenges where new financial and technological resources will be focused, such as cybersecurity, optimizing digital citizen services in e-government, and streamlining procedures. “These results motivate us to continue closing gaps and sharing best practices to ensure transparent and efficient administration,” the executive stated.

This outstanding performance reaffirms the consolidation of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model (MEDIT), articulating administrative efficiency with the institutional mission to train well-rounded professionals and generate a positive and transformative impact on society.
