Virtual consulting for entrepreneurs

The lockdown has forced many businesses and startups to embrace the digital world. That's why the government and organizations like the Chamber of Commerce have launched workshops and other initiatives to train entrepreneurs. APPS.CO, the digital entrepreneurship platform of the Mintic, is one of them.

This program currently has an open call for applications to foster the growth and consolidation of digital businesses. Participants will receive mentorship and personalized guidance; digital tools; workshops and virtual networking events; steering committee meetings; and increased visibility. All of this is compiled into a 16-week program.

The application period runs until July 10th, so if you wish to participate you must complete the registration form found on the website of APPS.CO or directly through this link.

“With this new date, it is hoped that many digital entrepreneurs from all over the country will take advantage of the opportunity to access free virtual 100% support to accelerate their businesses,” the Ministry of ICT announced.

It should also be noted that this call is aimed at people who have their companies legally established in Colombia, who have their own digital product and that has been validated in the market with active users.

In the case of Bogota, Cundinamarca, Tolima, Huila y Boyacá, The beneficiaries will participate in the program through the operator Unión Temporal Creáme -Genie, which is made up of Créame, an Antioquian business incubator with more than 24 years of experience in business promotion and acceleration, as well as Génie Latam, a business consulting firm with a presence in the Coffee Region and with more than 10 years of experience in supporting, managing and developing companies in the country.

Although the offer is for companies throughout the country that meet the characteristics described above, the Ministry of ICT details that there will be a selection process in which only 100 companies will be chosen.
