When looking for a job, being assertive and consistent can be the key to success; this was the emphasis of the Seminar Workshop on integration into working life, proposed and designed by the Graduate Office of the University of Cundinamarca
This activity focused on resolving concerns regarding the different demands that the work environment entails, such as job interviews, psychometric tests, protocol, clothing, language, the way of relating, among others.
“This strategy provides our students with the necessary tools to be able to connect with the current job market,”, explained Yency Alexandra Beltrán, coordinator of the Graduate Office.
This activity aims to have each participant conduct a thorough review of their organizational skills, technical skills, and personal abilities to visualize how prepared they feel and how to improve them to enhance their integration into working life.
In summary, the purpose of the workshop was to guide participants to an understanding of the current world of work and to orient them on how to move and adapt to the context.
