UCundinamarca and UNAL join forces to benefit students

On October 5th, UCundinamarca visited the campus of the National University of Colombia, UNAL, completing an eight-hour day in which directors and work teams from University Welfare of both institutions participated, who took on the task of finding the best strategies to improve the quality of life of students.

This meeting facilitated closer ties between the university welfare team and graduates from the respective public institutions, strengthening links with their counterparts.

The visit to the facilities of the National University allowed us to tour the university welfare departments; health, sports, culture, comprehensive support and socio-economic development.

The counterparts visited the respective guidelines, sports fields, kindergarten, school and chaplaincy as part of the activities for the working groups that aim to identify common needs and interests and establish possible long-term working agreements for the quality of life of the university community.

One of the challenges is for University Welfare to work hard to prevent students from dropping out and to help them continue their studies until the end.
