UCundinamarca host of IDDS: Adaptation to Climate Change in Colombia 2017

The Research Directorate of the University of Cundinamarca is honored to share with you the news that our University has been chosen as the venue and organizer of the International IDDS Summit: “Adaptation to Climate Change in Colombia, 2017” at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in Boston. This means that the University of Cundinamarca will be part of the select group of the IDIN (International Development Innovation Network) worldwide.

This year, the IDDS 2017 program will be the largest ever held in Latin America, with 80 participants including national and international researchers, the academic, administrative and management community of the University, as well as the community of the region and the country.

This program is part of the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Cundinamarca and the National University of Colombia, supported by the UdeC Research Directorate and with C-Innova (Center for Innovation of Appropriate Technologies and Education in Colombia) as an ally.

The University of Cundinamarca will host this summit at its Fusagasugá and Girardot campuses; however, all members and campuses of the University are invited to participate. The University of Cundinamarca, as the main organizing campus and full participant, has secured a special discount on the registration fee for the general public in partnership with the National University. This discount covers lodging, meals, materials, and training during the program (June 30 to July 17, 2017; payment is due upon selection of the participants).
