According to the results obtained from highest to lowest in the 2016 Saber Pro Tests, the University of Cundinamarca is listed in the Ranking of the best higher education institutions with the academic programs of Psychology, Nursing, Agricultural Sciences, Public Accounting, Business Administration and teacher training.
Academic programs in teacher training, such as the Bachelor's Degree in Basic Education with emphasis on Humanities: Spanish Language and English offered at the Girardot branch, are ranked 21st. The other bachelor's degrees of the Institution occupied the 43rd place in the Ranking, above outstanding universities such as El Bosque and Santo Tomás.
The undergraduate program in Psychology ranked 43rd, Nursing 41st, Agricultural Sciences 20th, Public Accounting 48th, and Business Administration 98th.
“The overall score obtained by each professional program from the universities that present the Saber Pro Tests is on a scale of 1 to 300 and combines the results of the specific competencies by career (economic analysis or legal communication) with those of the generic competencies (written communication, quantitative reasoning, critical reading, civic competencies and English).
Traditionally, the information from the Saber Pro exams is analyzed only by the academic community, mainly rectors, vice-rectors, deans and directors of academic programs, who use it to improve the quality of the education they offer and see the evolution of their students; however, this can also be a useful tool for the human resources offices of companies” (Dinero Magazine).
