Human rights: part of professional training?

With the goal of empowering teachers as managers of knowledge and learning, the University of Cundinamarca has established the School of Teacher Training and Development. This initiative will have, among other objectives, the mission of preparing teachers for life and as key players in the field of free, transformative, interactive, and collaborative learning.
“Teachers are the fundamental axis of University Educational Project and mission pillars of our Institution; thus, the 21st-century professor of the University of Cundinamarca is called to be a knowledge manager,”, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, rector of UCundinamarca, stated.
This educational policy, created through Agreement No. 000014 of July 26, 2018, outlined in the UCundinamarca Rectoral Plan Generation 21st Century, It will seek to develop a set of processes and strategies within the framework of training, innovation and evaluation, aimed at the continuous improvement of educational practice, teacher performance and student learning.
The organization of the School of Teacher Training and Learning is attached to the Office of Academic Development and Academic Vice-Rectorate.
