UCundinamarca, best higher education institution in institutional performance

The Institutional Performance Measurement (IPM) It is a measurement tool that evaluates public entities on a scale of 0 to 100 points in 19 policies (such as human talent, budget management and efficiency in public spending, legal defense, internal control, among others), so that they have reliable and real information to implement internal improvement processes and that these translate into a timely offer of goods and services to Colombians.

The Public Service Department clarifies that the measurement results do not establish a ranking between entities and only reflect the performance of each entity in the 19 policies evaluated.

Likewise, for the 2022 version, it clarifies that the results of the 2022 period are not comparable with the results of measurements from previous periods, since significant changes were made to the policy questions, given the processes of updating the topics and guidelines.

The measurement is based on the information obtained through the Single Form for Reporting Management Progress (FURAG), regarding the progress in the implementation of Integrated Planning and Management Model (MIPG) that evaluates different aspects of public management.

Likewise, this measurement evaluates and tracks the Standard Model of Internal Control (MECI), which provides a structure for controlling strategy, management, and evaluation in state entities.

At the national level, looking at the measurement by sectors, the most outstanding were: Labor Sector (88 points on average), Education Sector (87 points on average) and Culture Sector (86 points on average).

The University of Cundinamarca ranked first among Colombian universities in the Institutional Performance Index with a score of 89.9, above the University of Caldas, the National University, the District University, among others.
