Translocal Accountability Forum in Soacha

The Translocal Accountability Forum for the 2016 Term was held in the Main Auditorium of the Soacha Extension, an event that was attended by nearly 300 participants.

Teachers, students, administrators, officials, and the general public participated in this public hearing; all with the purpose of learning the results of the year 2016 presented by the director of the Soacha Extension, Fabio Julio Gil Sanabria.

During the opening remarks of the event, the director of the extension office thanked the university community for their participation and likewise invited the students to be proactive.

Among the contents developed in the Accountability Report were: The Management Report of the Soacha Extension; Teaching, Research, and Extension of the academic programs; Quality improvement in the programs and health promotion and prevention; Student retention; and The strengthening of cultural and sports attitudes and aptitudes and the use of free time.

This Translocal Forum was attended by the different program directors of the extension, as well as the various coordinators, and the Internal Control directors also intervened, who at the end delivered their conclusions.

For Cesar Mauricio Moreno Castillo, Director of Internal Control at the University of Cundinamarca, the success of the management report lies in transparency. “The public's interest in accountability was evident; this is how objectives are achieved at UCundinamarca 21st Century Generation,” stated the official at the conclusion of the event.

The outcome of the workday was satisfactory since management presented its administration clearly and briefly. “My management consists of acquiring resources to make the Soacha Extension a sectional,” pointed out Fabio Gil, director of the Extension.
