The Carolina Colombia Foundation offers postgraduate, doctoral and other scholarships to promote the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals, set by the United Nations for 2030.

The Carolina Foundation, an organization that unites the government of Spain with the rest of the Ibero-American countries on issues such as education and science, presents 723 scholarships within the framework of an online training offer in accordance with the fulfillment of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.

The scholarships include two new programs aimed at addressing the gender gap in STEM academic areas (Engineering, Science, Mathematics and Technology), and academic mobility in both directions, offering the possibility for Spanish students and researchers to undertake stays in centers in Latin America.

The Carolina Foundation has opened a new call for applications for its scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year. This 19th edition offers 723 scholarships distributed across the following categories: 283 postgraduate scholarships, 100 doctoral and short-term postdoctoral fellowships, 66 faculty mobility grants, and 165 institutional study grants. In addition, 109 doctoral scholarship renewals are being offered. This brings the total to 183 academic programs, 145 of which are postgraduate.

The postgraduate scholarship application period will remain open until March 7 at 9 AM (Spanish time).
The call for doctoral scholarships, short stays, teacher mobility programs and institutional studies will remain open until April 5 at 9 AM (Spanish time).

The Carolina Foundation has existed since 2000 as a Spanish institution dedicated to promoting cultural relations and educational and scientific cooperation between Spain and the countries of the Ibero-American Community of Nations. Since its inception, it has awarded more than 16,500 scholarships and research grants to Ibero-American university students, according to its own estimates.
