Human rights: part of professional training?

For three consecutive years, the University of Cundinamarca, through the Faculty of Sports Science and Physical Education, has joined the celebration of "World Physical Activity Day" with recreation, Zumba, and various individual and team sports activities, aimed at the educational community and the population of Fusagasugá in order to promote exercise as a daily habit for a healthy life.
The day began with Zumba; afterwards, attendees enjoyed recreational and sporting activities such as handball, volleyball-soccer, and badminton. In the afternoon, a games fair was held featuring games such as chess, target shooting, and frog toss., Jenga (physical and mental skill game), soapy track, track rope, lucky cubes, women's soccer between students of the Bachelor of Physical Education and the Sena.
The day culminated with a bike ride through the main avenues of Fusagasugá, ending with an electronic music party.
It is worth noting that the physical activity event was replicated with a sports squad in the Ebenezer Educational Institution, Industrial Technical Institute, José Francisco de Caldas Educational Institution, José Celestino Mutis Educational Institution, Carlos Lozano y Lozano Educational Institution and the Teodoro Aya Villaveces Educational Institution of the municipality of Fusagasugá.
The coordinator of Social Projection of the Faculty of Physical Education commented that the balance of the activity is very satisfactory because people not only practice the sport and have fun but also become aware.
For her part, Marlene Torrijos, a senior citizen from Fusagasugá and a member of the "young at heart" group, emphasized that the activity was full of energy.
For Angie Lorena Uricochea, a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and the Master's Degree in Education program, the day is very important because of the connection it creates between the municipality, its population groups, and the University, through sports and recreation.
World Day of Physical Activity
World Physical Activity Day is celebrated every April 6th. This initiative originated from... World Health Organization to promote physical movement and generate habits of physical activity that are pleasurable and promote well-being.
Likewise, the United Nations (UN) also established this date as the International Day of Sport for Peace and Development in order to recognize the potential of sport in creating an environment of tolerance and understanding, allowing for development and respectful interaction in the practice of different physical or sporting activities.
