Teachers in Fusagasugá strengthen their communication skills

The Academic Vice-Rector's Office, the University Interaction Directorate, and the Office of Virtual and Distance Education, aware of the great influence of ICT on teaching and learning processes in the education sector, certified 24 teachers from the Manuel Aya Foundation School in the city of Fusagasugá in Communication Strategies under the virtual modality.

“For our institution, the diploma in Communication Strategies led by the University of Cundinamarca, aimed at our teachers, is the beginning of an educational process, where teachers, through the use of new communication technologies, have learned new strategies in writing, reading, and public speaking.”, Dora Nevis Cruz Contreras, Rector of the Manuel Aya Foundation School, highlighted this.

The diploma course, which lasted 144 hours in virtual mode, trained the 24 teachers in reading and writing skills and in strengthening pedagogical and technological competencies, making critical and practical use of ICT.

“We know it wasn’t easy, that’s why we recognize the effort and dedication to acquiring new knowledge and communication tools that allow us to improve the teaching and learning process in the classroom and in the different areas of knowledge,”, Cruz Contreras said.
