The Ubaté branch of the University launched the Accounting and Tax Support Center (NAF), a new office offering free tax advice to the public. This initiative stems from an agreement between the University and the National Directorate of Taxes and Customs (DIAN), Ubaté branch.
The NAFs are a social responsibility initiative proposed and guided by the DIAN to be implemented by higher education institutions with the objective of creating permanent service spaces where students and teachers, previously trained, offer basic guidance on tax matters to individuals or legal entities at no cost in the regulatory or technical field.
The services that will be offered are the following:
In this way, accounting students from the Ubaté branch and the Facatativá extension, trained by the DIAN (National Tax and Customs Directorate), will strengthen their academic training with practical experience in tax matters, engaging with the community and helping to foster a tax culture in the region. Our Ubaté branch will serve as an example within the academic community for its commitment to improving the training of its students and professors.
