Successful reforestation day at the Chía Extension

Working as a team to ensure the sustainability of ecosystems; these types of activities contribute to the beautification of common areas and the unity of UCundinamarca.

The activity aimed to plant 75 eugenia trees to increase the forest areas needed to maintain a suitable microclimate to purify the atmosphere in the city and especially in the Chía Extension, raising awareness throughout the community about the environmental social responsibility involved in building a better planet for future generations.

The educational workshop led by Professor Luis Fernando Hernández was a success, with the support of our university's administration. This initiative was developed in support of the climate change campaign, as we strive to foster a generation committed to continuous improvement.

With this activity of great importance for the protection of resources, UCundinamarca continues working to fulfill the actions, projects, programs and other elements established in the Rector's Plan in order to continue dreaming of the University that the people of Cundinamarca deserve.
