The student community is hereby informed that, in accordance with the provisions of Laws 403 of 1997 and 815 of 2003, in order to receive the 10% discount on tuition fees for the various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs corresponding to the 2025 Academic Year, the electoral certificate must be uploaded to the institutional platform; therefore, it is necessary that TODA the student community upload their electoral certificate.

Article 12. Procedure for validating compliance with access requirements. Paragraph 1. If the public higher education institution exceeds the limit of resources allocated to finance free tuition, the HEI will prioritize the allocation of the benefit according to the enrollment processes that it defines within the framework of its autonomy and in accordance with the following order: i) Old students and ii) New students.

Starting from December 9, 2024 and up to the December 16, 2024 You can log in to the institutional platform using your username and password by clicking the icon “Electoral Discount” and upload the corresponding voter registration certificate.

Note 1: If you are an undergraduate student and do not meet the requirements set forth in Law 2307 of 2023 and Decree 2271 of 2023, “you will receive a 10% discount on your tuition fees upon uploading your voter registration certificate.”

Note 2: Documents submitted outside of the established dates will not be taken into account for the settlement of the tuition for the first academic period of the year 2024.

Note 3To obtain this benefit, the only valid certificate is that of the TERRITORIAL ELECTIONS ON October 29, 2023.

Note 4: Electoral certificates prior to the aforementioned date NO They are valid and the respective electoral discount will not be applied.

Note 5: Only the voter registration certificate issued by the STUDENT.

Note 6: If the student has an Identity Card document type on the University platform, It will not be applied The Election Discount. This must be updated with priorness at the Admissions and Registration office.

Note 7: If you received a benefit in the 2024-2 period, you do not need to upload the certificate again.

IMPORTANT: Before cancelling the 2025-1 settlement, verify your personal data and whether the respective electoral discount was applied.
