Human rights: part of professional training?

The University of Cundinamarca, in its mission to graduate innovative, entrepreneurial students who create opportunities, is joining the national call for Startup Weekend Colombia, 2018, organized by SIKUANINET. SAS, the official promoter of Techstars in Colombia.
The national event seeks to achieve a record international impact by linking 24 universities in the country in which 1,200 entrepreneurs will participate.
For this occasion, UCundinamarca has created an open call for applications until August 31st, completely free of charge, for entrepreneurs who can register on the website provided by SIKUANI.
Registered entrepreneurs will be evaluated through a series of challenges for approval, taking into account whether they meet one of the three profiles outlined for the industry, commerce, or services sectors, and whether their project is in the idea stage. Individuals with a formally established business will not be admitted.
Profiles that align with the STARTUP WEEKEND model guidelines for participating in the event may include:
The event will take place on September 7, 8, and 9 at the facilities of the University of Cundinamarca, Chía Extension, an ideal venue for activities led by the various mentors and facilitators of the SW work model. During approximately 54 hours of continuous work, participants will be able to present different ideas for the development of innovative and sustainable projects.
The event organization consists of five teachers, ten interns, a dozen student logistics assistants, ten mentors, between 2 and 4 people from communications staff, among others.
In addition, the officials of the University of Cundinamarca, including 30 administrative staff from different departments, 15 security guards, and 15 general services personnel, are also considered to have an impact in an alternative and transversal way on the event.

It is worth noting that the entrepreneurship initiative is part of the central focus of the consulting firm Center for Innovation, Technology, Management and Organization (CITGO).
