UCundinamarca continues to strengthen its commitment to social transformation and collaborative work among higher education institutions in the country, through its participation in the University Social Responsibility Observatory (ORSU) of ASCUN.
On this occasion, the Institution was part of the National Plenary held on May 21 at the Grancolombiano Polytechnic, a space that brought together representatives of Colombian universities to build joint actions around University Social Responsibility, sustainability, knowledge management and influence on public policy.
For several years, the University has been part of this national network led by ASCUN and currently leads the communications line, consolidating strategies that strengthen the institutional impact in the territories.
“This participation has allowed us to strengthen processes related to sustainability, territorial articulation, academic exchange and the construction of collaborative initiatives with national impact,” highlighted Jenny Alezandra Páramo Aragón, director of University Social Interaction.
During the day, working groups were held focusing on the construction of inter-institutional projects, the exchange of successful experiences, and the organization of the next National Congress of University Social Responsibility.
For the University of Cundinamarca, being part of ORSU represents a strategic opportunity to continue contributing solutions through academic dialogue and the Transmodern Digital Educational Model (MEDIT), promoting relevant initiatives for communities and territories.
For her part, Angélica Guzmán, manager of University Social Responsibility, highlighted that “belonging to this network strengthens institutional visibility in national settings and allows us to share experiences that reflect the University's commitment to a human, sustainable and socially responsible education.”.
With this participation, the University reaffirms its commitment to building a more integrated, supportive higher education focused on generating a positive impact on society.
