Sports Marketing, a commitment to creativity

The Sports Marketing Workshop was held at the Soacha campus with approximately 130 people in attendance. The event was organized by Fernando Ardila, director of the sports science program.

The Sports Marketing Workshop is an initiative developed by eighth and ninth semester students of Sports Science and Physical Education, through the SPORTS MARKETING INDUCTION AND SPORTS MANAGEMENT headed by the Program Director, Fernando Ardila.

During the event, topics related to marketing and entrepreneurship were presented by guest speakers such as Fredy Elkin Londoño Marín, a sports administrator; Alex Giovanny Pinto, an administrator with marketing expertise; and Sergio Andrés López Martínez, a business engineer. The central focus of the discussion was on sports marketing and management.

This project seeks to foster research and creativity among students and attendees, highlighting topics focused on sports that can be both innovative and strengthen the administrative processes of sports in Colombia.

“When we talk about Marketing we are referring to the set of Techniques and practices aimed at the marketing and distribution of products and services whose purpose is to satisfy the needs of consumers,” Ardila pointed out.

The attendees had the opportunity to give their opinions on the topics discussed in this conversation, as well as to join the research process of the SPORTS MARKETING INDUCTION AND SPORTS MANAGEMENT, for research on topics related to sports science.
