The workshop to share the Nursing program's transmodern digital pedagogical model with the curriculum update and adjustment model was held to review the progress, challenges, and scope of the curriculum update and adjustment project in relation to the vision, mission, academic profiles, and the development of a comparative chart to identify needs for submission to the Ministry of Education for approval. This was highlighted by the Director of Self-Evaluation and Accreditation, Ángela María Merchán Basabe.

Furthermore, during the awareness-raising session, the Rector of the Institution, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, presented the pedagogical model designed to involve professors in the activities of the second semester. This model aims to incorporate the significant contributions of the educational project in terms of quality, which will ensure the best results on the SABER PRO tests, improve the generic and specific competencies of nursing students, and position the program within the national landscape as one of the strongest, establishing it as a benchmark not only nationally but also internationally to guarantee academic mobility. This was stated by the Director of Self-Evaluation and Accreditation.
The Director Ángela María Merchán Basabe, from the Self-Assessment and Accreditation department, explains the importance of this outreach:
The day allowed interaction with the teaching community to answer questions of a curricular and administrative, academic and research nature; the challenge is to consolidate the project in order to present it to the Ministry of National Education in August for its approval and implementation in the first semester of 2018.

It should be noted that since last year the Directorate of Self-Evaluation and Accreditation, together with the faculties, directorates of the institution's 28 academic programs, faculty and other staff, have been developing the consolidation of a curriculum proposal for the programs in accordance with the transmodern digital pedagogical model.
The event was presided over by the Rector of the Institution, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, the Director of Self-Evaluation and Accreditation, Ángela María Merchán Basabe, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ricardo Acosta, faculty and directors of the Girardot Branch.
