Human rights: part of professional training?

Last Friday, the program participated in the Women's Cancer Awareness Day in Fuquenense, "Don't Let Cancer Touch You," led by Mayor Dr. Fredy Rojas, Social Manager Dr. Marcela Páez, and Jenny Pinilla, Secretary of Social Development for the municipality. These activities are part of the project "Transfer of Knowledge Generated by the Program Through University Interaction Based on Social Outreach Activities," fulfilling the processes of direct participation in projects and activities demanded by the communities of the Ubaté province. 130 women from the municipality attended.
Representing the University of Cundinamarca were students from the Public Accounting program Angie Daza, Diego Díaz, and Darwin Aguilar, along with the lead professor of University Interaction – Social Projection, Daniel Arévalo. They shared information about the work being done with vulnerable populations and extended an invitation to participate in the free training programs offered. They also discussed activities related to the project "The Public Accountant in the Construction of Solutions with Social Responsibility, Case Study of the Municipality of Fúquene.".
With this type of activity, the leadership in social responsibility of the province of Ubaté continues to be strengthened, under the management of the coordinator of the Public Accounting program, Ricardo Rodríguez.
