With the signing of the agreement, the two entities seek to join efforts and establish inter-institutional cooperation mechanisms in order to integrate the State, business and academia, and in this way, support the social and community initiatives of the inhabitants of the Department of Cundinamarca, belonging to community organizations and civil society in general, through training, banking and the economic contribution of the public sector.
The agreement will be valid for five years, a period that will allow the development of social innovation projects for the transfer of knowledge through training and learning activities in different areas of knowledge, as well as training in the community sector and social impact projects.
With this strategic alliance, the Ubaté branch seeks to be an articulating agent in social and community entrepreneurship in the region to strengthen academia and the community sector.
The agreement was signed in the municipality of Ubaté by the academic vice-rector of the University of Cundinamarca, Pablo Emilio Flórez Vargas, and the general manager of IDACO, Jhon Alejandro Linares Camberos.
